Bodies designed to heal themselves
Your body is designed to heal itself
Whatever injury or illness you may encounter in life, it is the miracle of your body?s natural design that heals itself. Sometimes we may need help but it?s still the body that does the healing. Pain is part of the natural process a signal that something needs attention. Pain communicates as an emotion/feeling and varies in intensity. Emotions/feelings can be changed, the subconscious/ unconscious mind that manages these processes can be negotiated with. This is the negotiation that will be done in your session.

Approximately 8 of 10 people will suffer from back pain. When the pain lasts more than 3 months consecutively it?s classified as chronic. The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) (http://www.hse.gov.uk/statistics/causdis/musculoskeletal/msd.pdf) cite work related low back pain as a major ill health condition not just in the UK but EU wide. It has also been classified a socioeconomic problem associated with work absenteeism, disablement and high healthcare costs. The HSE also report that the majority of back pain patients will have experienced a previous episode and acute attacks often occur as exacerbations of chronic low back pain. Statistically the prevalence of cases are significantly higher in the Construction, Transport and storage and Human health and social work activities compared with the average across all industries.
If you are employer and are aware of staff that suffer from chronic pain, please pass on my details.
